I am currently just a 17 year old, senior in high school, who uses poetry as an outlet for the good and the bad of my reality. I write to forget and I write to remember. I'm inspired by so many things, whether it be music, lyrics, poetry, stories, or experiences of mine or others. I just hope that one day my poetry can speak to someone the way many poets works have spoken to me. With that being said, I hope you guys enjoy my poems!

The Wedding

The Wedding short poem

Flowers in the garden, Smiles on their faces. Daisies in her hair, People filling the empty spaces. The wondrous silence that ensues when she walks down the aisle. Not believing the day has finally come, she looks up to him

About Her

About Her short poem

Tell me about her. – Her gaze was empty. She was here, yet she wasn’t. Everyone around her in tune with reality, While she was somewhere in the distance. No one could ever reach her. She shut them all out.

Your Presence

Your Presence short poem

Your presence – dear God – it’s intoxicating. It interrupts my daily thought process. It leaves me in a never ending, head scrambling, mental chaos. I can’t remember right from left. Or distinguish the difference between white and black. And
