Abortion short poem

The weeping of a mother
The hard, cold face of a heartless father
Poor little you, barely kicking inside
Mama is about to throw you aside

Let’s not blame mama, good beautiful mama
Let’s blame papa, for his empty promises, for his “fake love”
Papa lied to mama
Papa forced mama to do this

Poor, innocent you
Good mama won’t hear you coo
Good mama is heart broken
It is papa that has her outspoken

Poor quiet you
Barely kicking, barely moving
Papa is responsible for your poison, for this portion
Papa is the one pressuring the abortion

A throat gurgled; mama drank for herself and for you
She shared your poison; she loved you too much to let you go alone
Now papa is an alcoholic, he is alone
The both of you haunting him at home raddison harry
