It was a Monday September ten 2007 When Noura gave me this feeling of being in heaven Her mother phoned me saying: “Charlotte is babysitting Noura but Noura is crying!” A taxi took me to Noura’s place Her cry was strong with an angry face Charlotte was holding her tight Trying to calm to end her fight. Noura was turning her angry eyes Full of tears with a complete disguise Searching for dad searching for mom Her cry was dinging just like a drum As soon as she saw me she calmed down I was so happy I was in town Jumping to me her hug was far more than tender Beyond glory beyond splendor Kissing my cheeks, licking my neck Noura paid me the magical check! The check a loving aunt is fairly paid By “Mother Nature” given an excellent grade As soon as her mom appeared A river of love in Noura’s eyes emerged A breast feeding feast started at once Noura never give a chance To be abandoned to remain alone Was her family really gone?! Searching for a loving heart she was indeed A loving heart every child does need My feelings were uplifted by this experience I was highly touched with Noura’s kindness She proved to be a strong child Fighting for her rights shouting so wild At the same time I was so sad To see Noura this much not glad She is the dearest to my heart She is the closest to my mind Noura be happy never cry again A loving family we will remain.
I am a Lebanese female poet, researcher and writer in Arabic and English.Fourth of January, 1957 I was born in Quarnayel, Lebanon. Being an only daughter among three sons, gave my whole life an aromatic taste. I got a master degree in political science from the American University of Beirut. Mahatma Gandhi is the only politician I follow and respect. Gamal Abd Nasir is the only Arab leader I admire. Rabindranath Tagore is my spiritual master. His poetry, writings, music, and universal thought is a real fountain for my spiritual uplifting. Chief Seattle’s “Message To the Modern World” broadened my views and deepened my interrelationships with Mother Nature and the GREAT SPIRIT. John Lennon is my daily friend. I recognize his song “Imagine” as my national anthem. I am a fan of Yoko Ono; I appreciate what she gave to the “whole world” through her love to John. I believe that the cosmic law is the only law that any creature must follow in order to understand the simple truth of life and death: that is another form of existence.
I love you with no reasons, I love you without bounds, I love you with full heart, I love you without fake care, I love you with fulfilling relationship, I love you without expectations, Baby, Sweetheart I will be with
