Seek

Seek short poem

The world hates you
You’re caught in a scrape
Everything is untrue
You can’t escape

You’re caught in a cage
Brought down to your knees
You’re not a mage
In pity, you say please

Stop your mind
Take a chance
Reach out and find
Your victory dance

Be brave
Stay strong
Evil will crave
Not for long

You’ll find aid
You will be free
Pain will fade
Trust me

Hi! I like writing poems sometimes when I'm feeling emotionally charged. I don't know. Writing makes me feel better. I've never shown my poems to anyone until I created an account on this site. I hope my poems help make your day better!

Yes indeed I did feel good after reading your poem. You say their is always light at the end of a tunnel, good way to end any thoughts I reckon.
Have a good day you to.

A Seek short poem

An imprisoned bird looks through the window, beauty of the stars in the dark sky. She dreams to fly with her wings wide, sensing the fresh air, rejoicing amidst her fellow birds. She dreams to be happy and free again,
