It Comes From Within

It Comes From Within short poem

I felt God within me.

The wave spread through my mind,

There are roses growing,

From the fertile inner soils,

Wisdom I seek

I seem to find,

Appearing before me like a transitory gift

I need only extend my hand,

And the light comes to meet me,

Imparting the answers to fill my void.

Beauty in my life I wish to hold

I struggle sometimes to see

Appears before me in unexpected arbitrary moments

Like looking at my bathroom sink,

It comes from within.

Joy I hope to find,

Sometimes comes at the dark of night,

Where I sit idly and in dire straits

Relief or insight comes to break

The spell of the illusion

Dwellings of ignorance,

Freed from other possession,

Joy settles in.

Meditation stirs the pool,

Where I thought there was nothing,

Meditation pulls out a vision,

I find myself swimming

Towards a new, profound mission:

Self enlightenment….

It all comes from within

The light is helping me

I feel there is something inside

Helping other things come in place

So I can find the truth.

He wants me to succeed,

He wants for me to meet,

His hand on the other end,

I reach for it

and in my palm I extend,

My gratitude and nothing else.

For he seeks not more from me,

He wants me to win. It pleases Him

To see me benefit, from his merit

So I need not make a deal,

He is not the devil,

To gamble with what I feel,

And take advantage of what I need,

He wants to see me rejoin,

He wants to see me rejoice!

The light I had when we started,

So I enter it in sight,

All I have to say is, thanks!

For everything, you and me,

We can enter the light!

Finally,

Dear, White light starkly bright,

Sometimes you provide me with insight

Into the darkness that I’m struggling with

The darkness of my everyday strife

But if I simply seem to strive

To bring to it your light

it illuminates in an instant

Far beyond my own intellect can ever bring!

You wish me the answers,

To surpass my limitations,

you give me the notes to sing!

You give me the keys

To fulfill my being.

Waiting under the opaque moon a primeval instinct takes over you and you start arriving. A black bone renders the ash on your forehead and you complete the circle – reaching childhood; you start climbing the ladder, for instantaneous release.

A golden bullet will bite the adolescence for the sake of prudence. Inebriated everybody wanted to go in a state of bliss. It was a targeted killing of a dream. Redolent of a prophet who will not answer the call
