Vanish short poem

Desperation again, delusion revisited

unreal reality, imagined homeland

mythical fables, illusionary expectations

we live in make believe world

not a single shred of truth around

each one of us running

towards a distant horizon

no sign of arriving, no sign of travel

and then one day we all vanish.

Everything we do is just journeying, never arriving. Or if we did arrive, that is when to vanish. You have an interesting appraisal of life, @zyborg and that lends a special mystic to your poetry.
