Beyond Words

Beyond Words short poem

I searched in vain

for the perfect word

to explain

to ensure it’s heard

I searched and searched

in the dictionary

I ransacked all the vocabulary

I dissected each word’s etymology

But it seems it’s an impossibility

some feelings can’t be expressed

in words

they can only be judged

otherwise they remain blurred

because there is a world

beyond words.

A paradox and yet not; a writer who admits that there are some things which lie beyond the domain of words and can only be experienced to be known. Interesting piece of writing @Archana Sharma and so true. Hope to read more from you.

Beyond The Clouds

In my childhood fancy I very often wished To have a pair of wings Like the feathered creatures Having fun in the endless sky Thinking, if my wish were granted I would love to rise up too And fly over
