Two little twittering twitters

Two little twittering twitters

hop in and hop out

never stopping for a moment

rest they know not, play they must

chomping away on munches

differ they though in tastes

share they without fail

funny games, serious games

frolicking, slippery water games

amidst small and big tiffs

make up they do within moments

outcome big ‘sorry’ cards

sweetened with chocolates to butter up

Again they are one, as though nothing transpired

go twittering do they more robustly

I ponder…..

quarrels are involuntarily

but making up?

ego ties us down

owning up our mistakes, never can we

hoping they will make the first move

but it never happens

elders are elders,

kids we should be!

That’s a real sweet poem. I love it a lot.It reminds the metamorphosis of an individual from a child to an egotistic adult.

Chandrama Deshmukh

I love the basic thought of this poem. How our ego battles drift us apart. Children teach us so much about love, kindness, sharing, having faith, letting go…
Does growing up-roots us? Does growing damage us? How does one keep the child within alive when there is utter choas around?

Little Things Matter

Little Things Matter long poem

The world is a race If you want to succeed, pick up your pace Keep running, focus, put in extra hours, fly solo But doesn’t this make you feel empty and hollow? Be yourself, be silly, be alive, spread joy
