16/12/2014 short poem

Voices that had welcomed the day
with prayers of peace and enlightenment,
froze, forever.
discord of your lunacy
bereaved your hearts of feeling the joy
of those chants, those songs
so you subdued them, with your guns
but there will be more.

to hoist your bedeviled flags,
you chose this innocent terrain,
where angels spread their wings,
with reverence.
Even Satan won’t own you.
