My Lost Mother

My Lost Mother short poem

Oh my little darling
Don’t weep so hard
Such a lovely girl you are
Adorable little child.

I won’t be there hereafter
But you shalt not divest love of mother
For you have so many mothers of noble fibre

I shalt not be there to correct when you err
Nor I shall be to thrust you to my bosom in nightmare
But my darling, you have so many mothers
To embrace while you sob
Run to their lap when distressed
For you are an apple of their eye

Oh my brave girls
Don’t cry so hard
You have so much to do
So much to accomplish

Look upto light
Look upto hopes
Look upto the sea of knowledge
That you have to conquer
Be as bold as the sailor in the sea
Facing the wildest of the tides
You are to sail through this life
To reach the land of freedom
And to see the new dawn, of new hopes

On the day of glory
I shall touch your heart
Gleaming with triumph
And I shall rejoice too!

My heart loves you Was it not some time ago, My heart was like a rock? An impenetrable fortress, With steep cliffs at its side, A distance land, Far away, From where no ordinary soul, Would dare to reside? I
