With damned, grim faces giving bad tidings,
Just to cause you to panic,
And when you’d turn away in distress,
Jauntily, they’d flap their wings, and wink at each other,
Knowing that soon enough, with misery, out of fear,
Your vision would go dim,
With heart starting to beat too slow for one to hear,
Seeing you collapse with so few breaths left,
They’d come closer to you, and somberly declare,
Alas! You are almost dead!
And now it’s our duty, to respectfully devour
Your flesh, and chew your every bone
As it would be unkind and unfair
To let you lie here, all alone
Dead, and all by yourself,
What if you rot?
There are many uncivilized animals around,
Oh, and vermin
To humiliate you, they are bound,
But do not be afraid — We are already here,
Even though we are not really hungry,
With you, we shall be now, for the next few hours,
But you don’t say “thank you” to your friends,
Because the pleasure is all ours!
