Balance short poem

Death in a glimmering light
Love in the darkest place
The balance of many things
That goes unexplained
So with the flame I bare
And the love we share
I rather death after a kiss from your lips
Or die far away and live on in your soul
Than walk this earth as a rotting corpse
As I have before, and still I’m without you
What must I do since the balance is off
But lie in the sun and let my eyes close and soul doze off….

“Than walk this earth as a rotting corpse”
When I got to that line I was blown away. Intriguing use of imagery in this! Keep up the great work, I enjoyed reading this.
