Negotiating Peace Between Palestine And Israel

Negotiating Peace Between Palestine And Israel short poem

Imagine Israeli and Palestinian children
given flowers, roses, and peace signs
To take home to their parents as gifts
of love and freedom.

Imagine smiling at them and learning of
The future they have in store for more
Balanced communities of respect and
revelations: A nation of content, not
controlled by adults, anger, or aggression.

Our children are peace.

Our children are hope.

Our children are the beacon of betterment.

It does not take political intelligence
To rid the world of wars, bloody battles.

We have the children to think about
Who will plant new seeds of peace,
progress.

Let us pray for classrooms and playgrounds
That inspire participation and practice
between Israeli and Palestinian children,
So they can re-teach their parents and leaders
about getting along.

Because on this earth, we all belong.

We all belong.

Between Hunger And Escape

Between Hunger And Escape short poem

Something was not polite in signs. The smell of incarcerated bed of gods was floating down. A subdued shadow of black moon was climbing on the window. And each house had offered a son, to rage a war of retribution.
