An angel whispers

An angel whispers short poem

An angel whispers to you while you sleep;
they say you’re ready to see God and he wants to see you.
An angel whispers to you while you sleep;
they say the moon is a daysleeper as in night it carries you to oceans blue.
An angel whispers to you while you sleep;
they say follow the footprints that you see on the grass in morning dew.
An angel whispers to you while you sleep;
they say the world is a dream and I have come to awaken you from slumber anew.
An angel whispers to you while you sleep;
they say this was your test to find freedom from the chains humanity instilled in you.
An angel whispers to you while you sleep;
they say from your birth to manhood you always knew inside that nature was too cruel.
An angel whispers to you while you sleep;
they say imagine you are ascending to another place and when you awake it will one day come true.

Very interesting use of repetition, it works awesomely in this case. Good job, no need for stanzas here.
