Articulated thoughts on poetry

Articulated thoughts on poetry long poem

Each night, the universe
Writes its’ story
On the surface
Of the moon
Using starlight
As its’ pen,
And deliberately
Makes some words
To fall on earth
That is poetry

The immutable self
Afraid of its’ loneliness
Thinks itself
To be many
And causes a creation
That is poetry

Night after night
The lonely moon
Just wishing
To get a glimpse
Of its’ lover on earth
Removes a veil of clouds
And some moonlight
Falls on earth
That is poetry

A lover
Holds her loved one
And rains kisses
On her lips
And there she blushes
And some blush
Falls on earth
That is poetry

Another lover
Drinks the poison
Of life and
Lets go his beloved
So that she could live
A much better life
With another man
And his soul cries
Yet he pretends
To be smiling
And some tears
Fall on earth
That is poetry

And yet another lover
Toils to the torment
Of his soul
To give a beautiful life
To his family
Thinking no other thought
And he sweats
And some sweat
Falls on earth
That is poetry

When we cry
For the departed
Shining as stars
And call their names
Hearing our desperate voice
They fall to reach us
That is poetry

I am neither word
Nor thought
Nor am I emotions or expressions
Nor a world created by them
I am just a momentary pause
In between
The two breaths and one beat
That is poetry
