I look at you Oh Cellulite!

I look at you Oh Cellulite! short poem

“I look at you oh cellulite
Cute pinchy shins, sweet chubby thighs.
I look at the last cookie next–
With ever so cute little Choco chip!
There’s promise for early morning gym.
The world’s not ending were we to take a bit.
I look at them ladies with toned abs and legs
to deliver a kick to a sixteen something
My knee might squeak just a little bit
But who can resist a baklava, a creme brûlée!
I look at you oh cellulite and argue coco beans are aphrodisiac.
Let’s drink to that-
Red wine, if not beer!
Let’s not drink on an empty stomach…!
To this cheese platter with veggie-sticks
Let]s go ahead and raise a Cheer ! “

A phrase holds my hand and leads me to the completion of an idea. Then I love to read it out-- Satire with pain and pinch. Or I drift with it- into big skies and beautiful deeps. Its risky, you ve to test the waters... not needing to push all the time, but gently mastering the strokes. Love wRiting, love pOetising.
