Trapped short poem

I had never imagined the impossible
Never thought this would happen
But how could I deny
What was right in front of me
It was like looking in a mirror
But it wasn’t exactly the same
She looked so much like me, only prettier
Slimmer, fitter, better in every way
She smiled at me
The same smile I knew too well
But something wasn’t right
Something was missing

Chaos came next
My body petrified, my mind dazed
I couldn’t move, I couldn’t see
A second seemed like an hour,
A minute was eternity
When the fog cleared,
She wasn’t there anymore
But yet she was, I could sense it
And soon I found out
She spoke to me, but
The sound came from my mouth
Then I realized, I wasn’t me
Anymore, I was her
The missing was soul
Now she had one, mine
And I was trapped for life.

Trapped Light

Trapped Light short poem

A proxy life I was fighting in the hourglass to open the pathways of a grain for a bloody birth of an idea. Was time faithful to us when we were drifting apart? A prowling big cat had again attacked

Trapped short poem

I languish between talks all banal but hearty I hold my head down for all of it to pass To hit those looking to do some more of it This time with a smile, and come again at me I

Trapped In Amber

Trapped In Amber short poem

All those times it seemed unlikely for your body to hold together your heart, bucking so hard, speaking with someone in full bloom of infatuation, the glint of their smile, their clean animal scent, candles flickering on windowsills Outside winter

Trapped short poem

Trapped, I have been trapped in this room With locked doors and no windows With nothing but a creaking bed And an old mattress too hard for comfort Once in a while a door would open But there was no
