Nebulous Dreams

Nebulous Dreams short poem

“Dreams, against a wakening mind, like fleeting clouds,
Weaken, vanish, and silently evanesce at daybreak …

Nebulous dreams of a land unknown,
Wishful hopes of a life unchained,
Wistful fantasies of ambitions unbridled.
Uncanny fears of a destiny uncertain
Persistent thoughts of the unthinkable
Desire to solve life’s equations insurmountable
An unsweetened life that is unprintable
Awaiting an unforeseen death – inevitable, truth undeniable
Playing chords so unmusical
An unnoticed, unwanted, unceasing existence
Unpeopled, unsettled, and unattached
Meaningless bonds, emotionless emotions,
Untold fears, unshed tears…
Traumatized ego, malformed instincts
Untruthful promises, untitled birth.
Silently come we, silently we go
Unsettled, unhelpful and unripe…
Tis is not why created us Thee, the almighty
Fragments, figments, flesh and blood
He gave us mind to think and a beautiful heart
Not just to come and just play our part
But to change the realm, into a beautiful world!
Where happiness pervades, and humanity dwells,

Rise and shine! Do your bit; Come, play your part, and only then depart-
A fervent plea from a soulful heart!
