Alive long poem

Man of death
As dawn broke one day
No knock at the door
‘Cause he knew his way
He broke in
And a life ceased to be
It was your world
He did barge in
Your soul mate
Painfully met his fate
The hands of death
Pierced your heart
And out took a breath
A bleeding cry went far
Tore your whole apart
Aloud his name you called

“Come back my sole soul
In the world of mine
You are installed
You are walking away
That early
And pieces of you and me
You are keeping at my bay”

Words of ache
Roared their way out
In vain
Silence of death is around
Undefeatable and mighty
Will always death be
And everything here after is empty
Pieces of you
The blank inside
They fill
Into your heart
They put life
Your night they light
On your mouth
Laughter will gain place
Into your eyes
Love will shine
Hope will wipe grief out
And make you embrace life.

@Besma Dziri ‘Alive’ describes at best frailty of human life. How often it happens, that death snatches our loved ones from us and all of a sudden our beautiful world becomes a void. The silence of the soul can only understand the eternal torments of the heart. But hope is the only thing on which we rest. Life is indeed an eternal hope.

Sometimes, I just want to fly away and sit by a coast dotted with tiny creeks and gaze at the pebbles sleeping peacefully at the bottom of the stream while drenching my feet in water as pure as an infant.
