Moonlit Monochrome

Moonlit Monochrome poetry books

Moonlit Monochrome – a book of English poems

About the book:
These poems happened to me
at random, insignificant moments.
They are still damp, from loss.
They manifest
wild ways to look at
ordinary things.
I am picking up pieces of life
And handing them over to you.
Dipped in words. And longing.
This book is a map of my soul.
My moonlit monochrome.

Moonlit Monochrome happened to me at random moonlit midnights. These poems are about love, longing, experiences and self discovery. These poems are about (and for) those innumerable restless beings like me, who have spent sleepless nights making wishes under shooting stars. Who have spent hours and hours, nursing their scars! Most poems have references to the moon and talk about a journey within the self. This book wasn’t planned, it happened, like magic. And that’s the best part about it. If you relate to any poem in this collection, let me know about it. It’s such a comforting feeling to know you’re not alone in this journey. May you find your own meanings in my Moonlit Monochrome.

Monochrome long poem

Black is the epitome for darkness, An all thinks desolate and bleak. Purple gives us the incentive- the hope what we seek. Pastel yellow is the sun Which glistens our day, While blue is the color Of the scintillating bay
