Shapeshifter

A lost soul on stolen time wonders like a landscape drifter
For I am that which stands before you, a bottom feeder and shapeshifter

Wizards watch wrath without wondering why
Wither away like roses in winter whispering a thundering cry
My emotions are like whirlwinds from under king’s eye
Exposed and vulnerable he reveals his true colors as a plundering spy
Scrutinized, evaluated, and judged by manipulating forces
The gallows galloped as I flew baiting horses
We made our own individual path free of the creating courses
To be free, to watch you elating endorses

Absolute abstract actually acted as an aiding apparatus
Wavelengths of sound touched my ear like a fading clap right at us
Aberrations of oases in barren deserts an evading gap or status
Had me believing mirages were miracles trading maps for that fuss
With no direction, destitute, and determined to the point that it was detrimental
There I stood, unstoppable and immortal yet parental
For you are all my children, my responsibility to calm down getting gentle
Segments of my soul sooth, they are in pieces, their silhouettes were fragmental

Hidden in the amulet I shall stay
Disciples do my bidding like a personal valet
While I do my dance a bashful ballet
Painting with colors a mural of morale grey

The curtain closes as I peak like a drape lifter
I take my bow and slither away for I am the dark lord, the serpent, the shapeshifter

Shapeshifter

Shapeshifter short poem

Through the isolation And strife I thought I had found One good thing in life To need someone Is new for me But I cannot break This craving for thee A longing Which will not leave An escape from this
