Ray Of Hope

Ray Of Hope short poem

And then one day, I gave up.
I never thought I would but
situation didn’t left me with any choice.
I found myself in the middle of despair.
Every path from their seemed to blurred
and leading to no-where.
Situation started getting worse.

I found myself where I can’t see anything
I was feeling cold but somewhere in distance,
I saw something producing a small flame of light.
That light was little enough to eradicate surrounded dark.

But I found that I am getting a new life.
Out of everything, I felt like
somewhere else I was getting called.
Like they were saying,
I was destined for something else but
I trapped myself here.

I found a little warm.
It was surprising because
surrounding was completely cold.
It was providing me a new essence
to which I am completely unaware of.
It was giving me light like
it wanted to show me my path which I had lost.

Today, a long time after that
I am completely a different one
compare to that I used to be.
All the confidence and positivity,
I yet have that I got there.
I never tried to find out from
where that light was coming.
But now, I realize that it was a Ray of Hope.
That was very small but confident,
wanted to get acquired by someone and I did.

The sensation of thick honey Gliding down your throat, Enveloping your tongue in A heavy, smooth numbness that warms your buds, Dissolving into sweet ecstasy. The smell of rain Soaking into parched soil, Tingling your nostrils, Tickling your senses, Encompassing
