In my heart, now lives a butterfly,
flitting from flower to flower, drunk with nectar.
Is this love?
In my heart, now lives a bull,
with fiery eyes, with feverish horns, thirsting for blood.
Is this love?
In my heart, now runs a stream of rains,
children send by it their ships,
carrying their dreams and laughters.
In my heart, now there is a home,
with balconies, where pigeons come
to kiss for eternity.
Is this love?
In my heart, now burns great fires,
longing for the skies with their numerous hands,
dancing and dancing all night to the tunes of winds.
in my heart, now there is a white moon,
floating silently in stormy seas,
where even great ships sink and great sailors sink,
where even the fish and the fishermen
forget their eternal battle and run for their lives.
In my heart, now there are expansive valleys,
where tigers breed and turtles breed,
where angels fly and frogs hop,
where rivers and rabbits and horses and deer
run and run without a reason.
Is this love?
In my heart, now runs a train,
blaring its horns,
waking the fields and mountains.
In my heart, now fly innumerable arrows,
from somewhere, towards somewhere,
without ever finding their targets.
In my heart, now lies an open book,
holding within itself,
all the songs yet to be written.
In my heart, now lies an open seed,
holding within itself,
all the flowers yet to blossom.
Is this love? Is this love?
Is this love?, my love, is this love?
