Live And Die For Something

Live And Die For Something prose poem

Uploaded by Akadri Kareem

I want to be part of something
Something greater than I
Something that will continue to live
when am gone
I want to live for something
something that will change the world
something that will promote humanity
I want to die for something
something worth dying for
something that promotes peace and order
something of a great legacy “The Revolution”
The revolution that will reshape our world
that will bring peace and equality
the revolution that will bring true freedom
I will be part of something that brings justice
something that brings accountability
something that brings transparency
so in the end, my bust shall represent justice
my statue shall represent peace and humanity
so my name shall be written among the greatest
Socrates, Plato, Gandhi, Nelson etc.
Sure I will be part of something greater than I.
