Lifetime Best Friend

Deep ocean making a smooth calm sound
It can only be God
Dark skies with a trim of white clouds
It can only be God’s power
Birds making chirping sounds at night
It can only be God’s creation
Sitting next to the beach over looking mountains
Linking the view of the ocean and the sky
It can only be God’s grace
With such amazing creation, he did not forget me
He continuously shields my presence
He protects me from evil surroundings
He comforts me when I am down
And as I am sitting here, at my worst
I know he is right beside me
On my good days where I forgot he exists, he never left my side
He is the only true friend I could ever have
Emotions that I am experiencing, he understands them perfectly
It can only be God
That I dedicate my life and energy to
I do not seek for a loyal and a faithful friend
Because I have already
It is God
