The Greatest Fight

There’s an angel that lives in the sky
He has strong black wings
And knowing eyes
He comes to the earth to capture souls
He shows no mercy
He takes both young and old

There’s another angel that lives in the sky
He has strong white wings
And loving eyes
He shows mercy
And does not despise

Well Death met Life
And Life met Death
To take a girl
Or give her breath

A fight broke out in the skies
As the girl sat on earth and began to cry

Death and Life were tiring down
When the girl stood up from the ground

She says she owns her fate
And that’s not something
Life or Death can take

She explained that she is young
And there’s so many things she hasn’t done
She’s going to hold onto her life
But she looked at death
And said someday will be right
And he can come down and take her without a fight

So Life held on
And Death let go
And for now
That’s how the story goes
