Step Away

Modernity.
Technology.
Racing
head long
helter-skelter
into the
future.
Like a
runaway train
speeding
out of
control.
Historic
societal norms
breaking apart.
What to
think,
what to
believe
losing
resonance.
Explosion of
information
barraging our
senses.
Overload.
Current institutions
clueless
of what’s coming.
Acceleration.
Biotechnology.
Information technology.
Nanotechnology.
Artificial intelligence.
All converging
on top of
our heads!
More change
coming
in the next
twenty years
than seen
in the
last three hundred.
What to
do?
How to
cope?
For now
at lest,
step away.
Relax,
visit nature.
Walk in the
woods.
Meditate,
sit by the
ocean.
Leave the
technology home.
Our minds came
from
simpler times,
not designed
for
light speed
change.
Step away,
at least
for awhile.
Reset your
sanity.
Less you
implode!

Away From My Fears Is The Day I Dream long poem

“Away from my fears is the day I dream, a place where eternal happiness awaits for me. Where no pains exist, no one could hurt me. I could breathe the way I want without losing my identity. A place so

Giving Away

Giving Away short poem

A study of soul continues; hold back the animal, discovering yourself in blind light. Awaken the hungry child of autumn and give him the dreams of strawberries to eat, time would drink his tears sans lips. A second death of

Look Away

Look Away long poem

Look away Transmission overload; Can’t seem to figure out my mind. I’m feeling home alone in time, Too late to find a bride. I have slept a thousand years; No princesses kiss to change my heart and wake me up.

Fade Away

Fade Away short poem

So here I am again laying in our bed. Wishing you could see me, but you cant ’cause I’m dead. I try to scream, but make no sound. You say goodbye as my tears hit the ground. You never even
