An Ode To Headphones

An Ode To Headphones ode

Closed back, open back, on ear, over ear
I love all varieties of you, Oh dear
Sony, phillips, sennheiser or skull candy
Congrats dear, you are gettin trendy
Ranging from few hundreds to lakhs..
& from light as white to darkest blacks
You come in all the shades..
Your tangled wires kills my happiness
ThankGod, you even come wireless
You even come with detachable mics
No doubt your prices have such a hike

You are my biggest saviour
When someone comes  out of nowhere..
You save me from pointless talks..
With you I have taken best long walks
You are my emergency exit,
When I dont want to socialise
You help me escape
Far Out of shitty gossips
I curse myself when I forget you home
For you dont make me feel all alone..

As soon as the music starts to play,
World around me starts fading away
As soon as I put headphones on,
Fingertips start to tap and feets dance
I start singing aloud loud
Soon realising that She is mad Glance
You heal my bruises and wounds
With your soothing sounds
I trust you to sooth me
I will always appreciate thee.

You let me think of all things,
Which are even new to me
You let me think my life,
Analyse past and plan for future
Trust me, energy you give..
Renews my boring life
You take me to other world
A beautiful one
An unreal one..
But the Best one
