You Promised

You Promised short poem

You promised to walk with me all through life’s journey, are you sure you can manage when the path is pricky and wild.
You promised to swim along with me in the ocean of life, are you sure you would not swim back when tides are high.
You promised to build for us a mansion, are you sure in the process the tiny cottage of our love wouldn’t crumble.
You promised to bring down the stars for me, are you sure in the attempt of plucking stars you wouldn’t fail to notice the sparkle in my eyes.
You promised to be my best friend, would u take all the efforts to let not this beautiful bond end.
You promised to hold my hands forever, would you still hold my hands when others are pulling you afar.
You promised me life full of laughter, would you be able to make me smile in spite of tears in my eyes.
You promised to love me no matter how i am, would you still find me pretty when my skin speckles and body bends.
You promised that i would be the only one, can you hold on to your heart when the options around are better than one.
You promised to be my pillar to cling on, are you sure you can manage when the foundations are shaking.
You promised to never break the promise
Are you sure you would always keep up my heart, and never let me depart.

Promised Land

Promised Land short poem

I wish I could escape to that promised land Far away from this moribund moonscape & this callous concert grand. Where life is sweet like cherry wine & rivers wash away all the grime Where green meadows sway & swing

Go For It Now. The Future Is Promised To No One. prose poem

So many times it happens that a certain thing becomes a part of our life knowingly, unknowingly, but then that is what makes life interesting and life continues along with the same. So many times, so many things happen in

I Never Promised You A Rose Garden

I Never Promised You A Rose Garden short poem

I won’t forget the times when I made roundish letters in blue-black ink as if I were crushing blackberries perfumed and wild and in the eyes of that man by chance it was always the same Toulouse-Lautrec painting with my
