God Loves Us

God Loves Us long poem

Uploaded by Leona Chaput

God loves us, He loves us because we are
Made in His holy image, claimed and called
By the God of the world and all of the universe
Made to love God and to follow and trust Him
To believe in His mercy and all that He means
He wants and needs to know that we are chosen to be
Willing and eager to believe and to follow the way
That He has set out for all who come to the foot
Of the throne of our Savior
Coming to bow down contrite before Him and pray
God loves us, God loves us, He loves us more that
We know
He shows us, He shows with His love He comes and
Showers us with more than blessings than we can count
Walking besides us and holding us gently in the palm of His
Providing and watching us with the love that He shares
