One Dance

One Dance short poem

They hold each others’ hands
Walking down the lane
Their hearts beating with praise
Was it the season of rain?

The water begins to pour
In the silent night
The boy appeals for
a dance, in the starlight

Hands held
with their eyes united
“Take me and we’ll take on the world” said her eyes
“I am with you always” heard her ears

The rain ceases
Unlike the dance
Which was gracefulness
It was a pure romance

The movement stops
But the eyes are still united
Kissing the boy she says
“I love you” and the boy’s spirits get uplifted

And they continued walking
For the world it was the end of midnight
But for them it was the beginning of daylight

Scary Dance

Scary Dance short poem

Immersion in a regal carnage. Ash colored dawn was gang-raped. A bullet-ridden sexism shuts out the fame. Starts a chilling confession. O, my orion I adore your ruffled stance. Do not make a kill. Sunflower, why your seeds were participating

One Day

One Day long poem

I never knew that one day would be there When I would ask my existence from you One day I would beg you to apply vermilion on my forehead To name my child, to change my identity.. One day that
