In Life’s Battlefield

In Lifes Battlefield short poem

The sun is now hiding its light
And hope is fading in the darkness of the night
Tears fell from your weary eyes
Holding back the hardships in your heart
I can tell it with your sigh.
Teardrops glitter in your cheeks
It’s okay my dear,
Crying is not only for the weak.
Can you feel the soft touch of the wind?
As it caresses your sunburnt skin.
Can you hear the whispers of the trees?
They’re telling us different stories.
Can’t you see?
The waves cry with you
Even the ocean that once filled with blue
Can be filled with darkness too.
Be strong my friend
This battle is about to end
Soon we can see the light
For there comes a dawn after the night.
For now, close your eyes
And lay yourself to sleep
Soon the sun will rise
Dry your tears, don’t weep
There’s a new world out there
So cast away your fear
Someday soon you’ll see
Across the deep blue sea
Hope is waiting for you and me.
