The Unheard

The Unheard long poem

Among the herd,
In the bustling city,
Voices here
Voices there.
I’m unheard.

With all my heart
with all my strength
comes a shout
resonating through the glasses.
I’m unheard.

The voice within
cutting across the wind
scattered everywhere
Oh ! Is it hard to pick up !
I’m unheard.

Each word I say
None to listen
Each word is back
in the echoes of my voice.
I’m unheard.

Surrounded by many
yet, heard by none.
Felt by many
yet, understood by none.
I’m unheard.
