Night Unto Three

Night Unto Three long poem

ever in two and the one in the three became one
summer is gone and the rye is now only winter high it is the deep
water long a sparrow less song in a long tall winter the autumn
spring fawn
the least beyond the more the less beyond the least does
shine forth as an angel in its wings a light
above the night reborn in gazed amassed moon bright
a twilight deep search for a sword at my side
stalks of shattered earth beneath my feet is where I tried to see
then inward skyward out again were three, one left one gone
one fawn to see
the sky of which fallen then appeared to me
the friend of a friend in the apostolus tree
