Love For Eons

Love For Eons short poem

Uploaded by nisharaviprasad

Not for long will they clasp my hands
or play with pots and pans

not for long will they run to me
with a scraped knee

not for long will they run to bedside
when they hear the brontides

the day they stop their whys…
they are versed and wise

beckoned by the wild blue yonder
a world of astounding wonder

the day they will no more be defiant
but self-reliant

no longer will they tug on my hands
must let their wings expand

though the mountains sigh
the winter snow bids goodbye…..

only to recrudesce
nevertheless

for they know
my love veracious and staunch

remains for eons….

Fail In Love

Fail In Love short poem

She was a traveling soul. The galaxy resting above her nose. I’d sit & stare. Wondering where the stars would go next. Both young & in love I let go. Tracing together swirls of color. The planets all together aligned.

Please take my hand, for I am blind. I’ve lost my path and my sense of touch. I’ve fallen, for my hands and feet are behind. Please let me hear, for all is in a hush. My wrist and ankles
