Channel 1

Channel 1 long poem

You’re faker than
Than Hollywood on my
Tv screen

The deceiving lies
Told to make me believe
Your insidious plan
Thinking I’m so naive

F***** up ideologies
Never deserve any apologies
Evil, maniacal strategies
Wish I wasn’t existent in your
Genealogy

Bull**** runs from your mouth
Nothing but empty gossip
Same edition every month
Take a good look at yourself, closeup

Trash, trash, trash
Is all you bring around
Feeding the young
Turning the household into a battleground

I want to turn my tv off
Disconnect my cable
And be rid of those old channels
But that is my father,
And that is a different fable.

I am 21 years old, and have a burning passion for writing about topics that aren't discussed at the dinner table mainly in the style of free verse. Metal, punk rock, and poetry are 3 things that calm me down, and help me express my most inner raw emotions.
