Delusion short poem

We all are prisoners!
prisoned in the cage of a body.
Our soul wants to escape
from the least inch of shade.
It trembles, it struggles
it fights but can only snuffle.
Mouth shut, mind rebut
hands clenched, foot clasped
bare eyes are open.
Elusion is what it needs
Apprehension but it holds.
