Never To Be

Never To Be long poem

We live in two different planes of existence.
We travel two different paths within those planes.
Our paths cross on both but unite in neither.

By day we live in one plane where we work, we provide, we survive.
We pass by each other every day but we rarely meet.
When we do there is creativity and laughter.

At night and in the dark corners of our minds we exist in another plane.
Everything flows and nothing is anchored.
Time and space don’t exist in a traditional sense.
We follow our own energy and it flows through us individually.
When we do cross paths there is lightning and thunder our souls crash and our bodies become one.

But then reality sets in and once again you are you and I am me and we can never be we.
