Morning

Morning prose poem

Uploaded by nlograsso

Quiet stillness
Like the whole world is waiting for something
Holding its breath in anticipation
As the sun breaks through
The once sleepy sky
The day waits to begin
Until just the right moment
When the universe is ready
To open up its shop doors once again
And welcome us all in
To the start of a brand new day
New opportunities and new beginnings
On this bright new morning
