Simplicity short poem

Simplicity :

What happened to being
Legitimately fair?
What happened to feeling
Cosy about your hair?

What’s wrong with bushy eyebrows?
What’s wrong with bumpy skin?
Try to adjust it, you spend hours
Doing workouts to become thin?

Do you deny yourself that much
That you cover your beauty with makeup?
“Try not to cry, don’t touch”
“Don’t look at me when I wake up”

Your insecurity
Drove you off your simplicity
Which is your natural post degree
That’s what it’s supposed to be

“Oh no, I’m too hideous”
“Oh no, I’m too chubby”
Darling you’re just oblivious
You’re Irrisisteble, honey

You’re like a Juliet rose
You’re precious, you’re rare
Just don’t try to expose
That you’re not found everywhere

So please don’t change you
Don’t change even for publicity
Because you’re beautiful,
You’re beautiful in your simplicity
