Love

Love

Some say love is having compassion for those who cannot fight for
themselves and trying to fight for them

Others say love is remembering always to say “I love you”, “I’m so
sorry” or “thank you” or “have a great day” even

Yet often we do not communicate our love for others nearly as much as
we should or as often

But it is amazing how it happens that we all do long to hear those
words sometimes to know that we are loved and that life is no game

And when love becomes but an everyday old routine people will one by
one get tired little by little and one day forget us just the same

Nothing can replace the warmth of sincere kiss and embrace every so
often or words of compassion coming straight from the heart without
shame

So let your loved ones know every so often exactly how you feel in
your heart and they shall remain by your side for a long time

For those that think love is not important are the ones that end up
always getting the blame

And it is lovers that will always be forever in anyone’s heart remain welcome.

Fail In Love

Fail In Love short poem

She was a traveling soul. The galaxy resting above her nose. I’d sit & stare. Wondering where the stars would go next. Both young & in love I let go. Tracing together swirls of color. The planets all together aligned.

Please take my hand, for I am blind. I’ve lost my path and my sense of touch. I’ve fallen, for my hands and feet are behind. Please let me hear, for all is in a hush. My wrist and ankles
