An Eulogy For Chinua

An Eulogy For Chinua ode

Uploaded by Chiori Mathew

This one is for CHINUA
A star among stars
The big tree has fallen
But nature I blame
For such a blunder

I know you look down
Up there
Your footprint still draws breath
Yesterday your legacy I saw
your inspirations, your insights.
Concocted on us
The one I cherish, “Poetry”

Who will take your place?
Who will take poetry to the next level?
A scar no one can heal
accept this from me
coming from the depth of my hearth
I know you are more than this
