I.d.i.o.t short poem

Uploaded by Pramod Shrestha

A wise man said, “don’t follow the money,
Let the money follow you”,
So I followed the latter,
Wondered half the world thinking,
I am flowing with the thoughts of the restless heart,
Made friends, relations and emotions,
Yet, I am socially inept,
Followed faith, creed, religion
Still, I am uncultured,
Thought I had all the possessions,
Even, feel losing the grip,
Got loopy on someone,
Became a fool of myself,
Each new day a new passion rises like the early Sun,
So I went with these mischiefs,
I flowed like a river of turbulent thoughts,
Never trying to meet the still Ocean,
The enthusiasm of trying to score an elusive goal,
Obsessive may be its nature,
No direction, no future it seems,
But, you believe in the silver-lining,
Alone may be the path with no companions to say,
Hello! You are fine,
Astonished, still find someone like you on the journey,
I have not lost the hope,
Glimmer of light is still on,
Idiot I may be,
I Do It On my Terms,
Ethos, Pathos and logos are all on the stake,
This is my Karma and Dharma,
My dreams that I follow………………………….
