Truth

Truth prose poem

Photo by Xavez

Just like mantises, hurrying to finish his last embrace, so to be taken by the husks of his beloved;
Like a butterfly, flying to the sun, but hunted by a pale lamb hanging on the dust of the road;
Like a penguin searching for left-outs in waters guarded by sharks;
Like a fig-berry, pouring its breasts’ milk and lips’ honey over a street-fence crowded by hungry eyes;
Like a grave digger, working as a clown in birthday parties;
Like an infant whose wish is a candy, but crawls after a serpent with a ringing tail;
Like a mouse learning to swim in an oil barrel;
Like a wise-man, drinking a poison cup so he might find his life in his death;
Just like that; he takes off his eyes in order to see, and knocks on every door, so he might touch the truth which travels over the slopes of winds.
