Everlasting Agony

Everlasting Agony long poem

When everything fell apart,
The ache grew stronger in my heart.
When the earth stopped spinning,
The birds stopped chirping,
And the flowers stopped blooming,
Did you know what they were all saying?
The dark, long winter night
Took all the things that were bright
Didn’t even wait for a slight
And closed your eyes that always shined with light
When the air around you turned cold,
Did you know you were never growing old?
We still had not fully grown
And already felt so broken
Because you were the one that was chosen
When each rose petal fell,
Only said time will tell.
We thought we had it all,
And then we watched it fall.
Now, it has been many years,
Yet, the night only brings tears.

Everlasting

Everlasting short poem

It only took a few months for them to truly understand. That life can end so quickly. So they now walk hand in hand. It only took a single glance for them to fall in love, But no one knows
