A Few More Moments

A Few More Moments short poem

Yet so deep..
The bond
The desire
To be
One soul
Two hearts
That beat as one…

Breaking shackles
Sharing agony & pain

A justification to live
To what extent
How does a relationship start?
Where does it end?
I know not!
But then
Relations give rise to another
The chain continues
Can’t we pause?
For a moment
Let it remain
Where it is

I fear
I will loose myself
And “you”
My “precious” one

Life was
But a flicker of light
Ready to extinguish
Don’t let the wind come by
Embrace me
With your soul
This is my last chance
And I do want to live
A few more moments….

I thought it belonged to only I, But you have claimed it for yourself. You say I should hurry up and die, That I’m only good for killing myself. I don’t wish to hear you, But you stole my hands.

The Abrupt Moments long poem

A scent of fresh glowing flowers graced the room Noting an expression of optimism on one’s face Swifted the day with an agile grace Having motioned by a thought Engulfed by confidence Incredible imagination running rampant Ideas tendered by success
