On A Walk in The Park

One day on a walk in the park
we ran into an arc of the past
with a start

You ask
how many years have passed
more than fifty hold fast

Looking back
at our first
a miracle for sure
who ran us in a cycle
and yet so pure

Our dry run
and we were stunned
and we’re not done hun

Then came another
who was a spark

Now seasoned
it’s no lark
we’re ready as a ship to embark

And so there was yet another
our final bliss not to be missed

Our memories are crisp
as a wisp

Proud and pleased of that arc
we came across in the park
and of our children
now ready for their walk
in park
