Delicious Treat

Delicious Treat short poem

Mommy Mommy, can you bake a cake today ?
I’ll be quiet , I’ll stay in my room and play.

Mommy Mommy, I can hardly wait
To taste a yummy slice upon my plate.

Mommy Mommy, is it done yet?
It smells so good and will taste even better
I bet!

Mommy Mommy, it feels like hours have gone by
If I don’t taste it soon I will surely die.

Mommy Mommy, the cherries and pineapples are yummy and sweet
Thank you for making such a delicious treat.

Mommy Mommy, i must say the taste is divine
I wish we could have cake all the time.
