Customized Menu ballad

Low and behold those creatures cried and begged
while the butcher cut their heads
then he sells them part by part
to her delicatessen
Kidney pie, liver fry, sizzling heart and brain
rated for their fat

Hanging in freezer rooms ready to be grilled
Pig roast, Goat chops, Cow’s stakes, fowl kebabs
Man’s delicacy
Its such a shame but who to blame
they fall in the food chain
their is no law to sew the butcher
because they are not human
they land up in a soup

For those who tried to fight their rights
Ignored by a smirky smile
just go down to Asterix Town
to a restaurant called the Beast
It will astonish you going through a customized menu
Crocodile, Iguana, Tortoise, Frog and Mind you Snake to please a few
watch then devour on ribs in smokey barbeque sauce
topped with wicked ghost chillies
for all your embitter feelings
you will see them wipe their teary eyes while the bill arrives
a whooping sinful price
