Helpless

Helpless short poem

Uploaded by Scarlett Shaw

Thoughts wander in my mind, but my vision ignores them.
Words tangle around my tongue, but do not fall out of my lips.
My fingers are intertwined around the pen, but my hands don’t write.
My heart beats every voice of me, but my mouth refuses to scream.
My lungs have love in them, but they don’t exhale it.
My eyes are full of tears, but it doesn’t flows them
My soul has emotions, but my face refuses to express them.
My wings have the power, but they don’t let me fly.
My feets have the energy, but they don’t move anymore.
My voice has the rhythm, but still it sounds like obnoxious melody.
My body remains burried under the sand of sadness.
